Some preparation tips before cleaning
That's it: you are going to clean your mattress. Here are some tips before you start cleaning it.
Do not soak the mattress
In order not to damage your king size mattress, it is important not to pour water directly on it. To do this, use a damp cloth to clean the entire surface of the mattress.
Clean your mattress in the morning
To give your king size mattress plenty of time to dry for the evening, it is best to start cleaning it in the morning. This way, it can dry for several hours in the open air
Air the room
In order to remove all the humidity linked to cleaning the mattress, open your windows wide. In the best case, choose a day of the week with beautiful sunshine for more drying efficiency.

- In 1 L of hot water, mix half a glass of ammonia
- Rub the stains on the mattress with a cloth soaked in the mixture

Baking soda
Baking soda is one of the essential products in your household products. It is particularly effective in eliminating bad odors present on the mattress. To do this:
pour the baking soda over the entire surface of the king size mattress
let it act for several hours before removing it using a vacuum cleaner
Maintaining your mattress over time
Maintaining your mattress involves cleaning it but also adopting daily hygiene. Here are some tips.
Air your room daily
In winter, as in summer, to evacuate all the perspiration and humidity accumulated by the mattress during the night, open your windows. You thus protect your bedding from the appearance of mites and other bacteria.
Renew your bed linen
For good hygiene of your bedding, it is ideal to wash your sheets once a week. At the same time, while washing your bed linen, shake and air your duvet and pillows.
Protect your mattress
By dressing your mattress with a mattress protector, you protect your king size mattress from stains and humidity. A mattress protector will extend the life of your bedding and improve hygiene.
