 Put the phone in a zip-lock bag or other container made of materials that can hold moisture. As absorbents, you can use couscous, rice, oatmeal, or silica gel packs. Because silica gel is so highly absorbent, it would ideally be the most successful at removing moisture.

As an alternative, you can dry the phone by setting it in front of an air conditioner or high-speed fan.

 Give the phone more time to dry—roughly 48 to 72 hours—by keeping it in the medium. The likelihood of successfully drying it decreases with time. During the drying phase, do not attempt to turn on the phone.

 7. Put the phone back together.

 Check to verify if the phone works regularly by inserting the SIM card again and turning it on. The phone might have lost battery power at that time, in which case you might need to charge it. To check if the phone is working properly, try using all of its capabilities, including the cameras, the phone, the speakers, and so on.
